Louie Zong – “ghost choir πŸ‘»πŸŽ΅”

A quick glance at the calendar will tell you that Halloween, unfortunately, is over. I’ve already written in the past that Halloween themed music videos are what I look forward to most every year, but sometimes great songs can slip through the cracks. Enter “ghost choir πŸ‘»πŸŽ΅” (the emojis are essential), an extremely brief melody that somehow eluded me until mid-November. And it sure brings the spooky vibes.

Written and composed by We Bare Bears storyboard artist Louie Zong, “ghost choir πŸ‘»πŸŽ΅” is a cute little song that follows last year’s similarly adorable “ghost duet“. Although each of the songs don’t have any lyrics–or actual singing–in it, Zong uses snapping and chirping overtones (similar to the sounds of a theremin or an Otamatone) to create a catchy little earworm that’ll make you nostalgic for the spooky season again.Β Don’t forget to watch the music video either! Who knew ghosts could be so cute?

Though the song’s just under a minute and thirty seconds long (rest assured, there’s probably going to be a ten-hour version of it coming up soon), “ghost choir πŸ‘»πŸŽ΅” will haunt your dreams all night.
